Hours of Operation:

We are open Mon. - Fri. 9 to 5 pm est. Hours may vary during National and local holidays. Please see our online calendar for holiday hours.

Credit Cards:

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.
All customers must keep an up to date credit card on file and fill out our
Credit Card Authorization Form.
Problems caused by out of date cards or declined charges will delay the service delivery time of your orders.

C.O.D.:

C.O.D. (cash on delivery) payment is available only to customers who physically pick up their orders from the lab. We do not ship COD, however you may pre-pay for your order using a check or credit card.

Returned Check Policy:

A $25.00 service fee is charged to all accounts where checks are returned due to insufficient funds.

Order Tracking:

Upon receiving your order, it is given a barcode, and scanned into each department as it moves through the lab. This allows us to monitor your order at all times. If you are calling to check on an order please have your account number and the order number available.

To provide you with the most efficient service, please take the time to review all hand written order forms thoroughly. This will expedite your order by reducing any additional time needed for clarification. The service schedule starts when all information has been provided.

Web based order tracking is available. Go to the “Web Order Inquiry” page of this website to sign up or log in.

Minimum Order Fee:

There is a base minimum order fee of $5.00. Proofing orders have a $10 minimum order fee. Pick-A-Pack orders have minimum requirements based on images or dollar amount. See the package products section of this website to find out more details.

Service Schedule:

The price charts on this site show a schedule of delivery times. These are estimates only. All order received before 10am will start that day. Orders received after 10am will not start until the following business day. If an order has a delivery time of 2 days, this means it will take 2 days in lab, and will be ready for pickup or shipping on the 3rd day. Guarantee of delivery is neither expressed nor implied. Seasonal work loads and unforeseen maintenance may alter in-lab times. We suggest that you incorporate a safety factor with your commitments.

Your Copyright:

Your studio copyright is available as back writing on all prints 11x14 and smaller. The total number of characters and spaces should not exceed 24. Please contact the Customer Service Department for more information.

Remakes:

At HS Photo our goal is to get it right the first time, however there are occasions when a remake is needed. We will gladly make another print(s) for you at no charge, provided that the order is returned to us within 30 days. Our goal is to have the new remake back to you within 24 hours. Remakes should be returned in the same condition they were received including all original paperwork. This not only gives us the information required to get you what you need, but also allows us to thoroughly assess the reason for the redo and make adjustments in lab to help correct any areas of weakness. Any order that is reprinted by a third party company will not be eligible for a refund without HS Photo being given the first opportunity to remedy the error. For remakes due to shipping damage, please contact customer service for the correct procedures.

Shipping Schedule:

All orders incur a $3.25 handling charge. Our preferred shipping method is Standard UPS Ground Service. Packages shipped via UPS Ground or U.S. Mail will not be assessed a shipping charge as long as the customer is located in the contiguous United States.

UPS does not permit shipment to a Post Office Box. Packages being shipped to a P.O. Box address for regular delivery must be sent by U.S. Mail. (No tracking method with U.S. Mail)

All Pick-A-Pack orders are subject to weight criteria. There is an extra fee on orders weighing over 10 lbs. or larger than 16” x 20”. This is billed at the carrier’s cost.

There is an additional $10.00 charge for orders being drop shipped to an address other than the HS Photo account holder’s address.

File Storage:

HS Photo will archive customer’s digital files for a period of 6 months. If you feel that you need these files back from us we can burn a CD for $5.00 or DVD for $10.00 per disc. If you would like to order from files previously sent to the lab, you will need the original 7 digit order number associated with that job so that we can retrieve your images. This number can be found on the back of smaller prints, at the bottom left corner of your invoice, or on the original paperwork sent back with the order.

Reproducing Copyrighted Photographs:

With the purpose of protecting all professional photographers, we cannot copy or print photographs that are copyrighted or have a studio name imprint without the written permission from the copyright holder or maker. In accordance with The United States Constitution and the Federal Copyright Act, protection of images now runs for the life of the author plus 70 years. Only the copyright owner can give permission to copy.

Limit of Liability:

Submitting any film, print, slide, cd, dvd, flash card, usb drive or other digital media to HS Photo for processing, printing or any other handling, constitutes an agreement by you that any damage or loss by our company, even though by our negligence or other fault, will only entitle you to replacement with like amount of unexposed film, cd, dvd, flash card, or usb drive.

By paying our regular prices, you declare the value of your film, cd, dvd, flash card, usb drive, to be no more than its replacement, as stated above.
